Richard Morrison, United Kingdom
Richard Morrison began his 15-year career with The Times of
London when he joined the paper as Music Critic in 1983. For the past eight years, he has
been the Times’ Arts Editor. Mr. Morrison is a former organist, keyboardist and
trombonist, and studied music at the University of Cambridge. His musical career branched
into journalism when he began writing for music publications such as Early Music and
Classical Music, working on the latter as Editor.
