(Born; ?Circa;1569; Died; London, 16 April 1645). English composer.
An officer in the Swedish and Russian armies, he played the viol and entered Charterhouse
almshouse in London in 1629. His two published lyra viol tablatures (1605,1607) contain
all his known works - dances, descriptive and programmatic pieces and songs.
