Eminent pianist and composer Ramsey Lewis is one of our most influential and beloved Jazz musicians. In addition to his many award winning and best selling recordings, and his successful live appearances, Ramsey Lewis heads Ivory Pyramid, a recording studio/production company he formed to shepherd talented young musicians. He hosts Chicago's leading weekly morning drive radio show on WNUA and his 'Legends of Jazz' radio show is syndicated in 60 markets. On cable television, he hosts BET's weekly Jazz show, 'Jazz Central.' In addition, he serves as Artistic Director of Jazz at the Ravinia Festival.
