Instrall, Graham
Biography
Graham Instrall
Graham (b.1970) studied percussion at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and drum
kit with Bob Armstrong. He works regularly as a freelance player with many orchestras and
bands and is much in demand as a teacher and for his educational workshops. Determined to
develop the opportunities for young drummers and percussionists, Graham co-founded the
Graham Cole Percussion School, providing tuition from world renowned musicians. He is a
DIY enthusiast, specialising in all areas of domestic maintenance (including building
fabulous rehearsal rooms!) but has taken this one step further and created Wigwam
Percussion, manufacturing Marimba mallets and assorted smaller percussion instruments. At
the end of the day, Graham likes a good game of squash and an evening sat in the garden.
