Superstars on GMN Live Collection
Superstars on GMN Live Collection
Following on from the success of the first seven releases on the GMN Live Collection, GMN give you a taster of some of the webcasts being released this coming Friday in the future weeks and months.

Our second batch of seven includes Beethoven Symphonies Nos. 1 & 7 with Sir Roger Norrington and the OAE - performances of authentic brilliance; there's a Russian song and opera recital with the great Gorchakova; Mozart from (where else?) the Mainly Mozart Festival with David Atherton and Anne-Marie McDermott and co. in Schubert's Trout Quintet. Peter Donohoe take on Beethoven's titanic Hammerklavier sonata in the second volume of his Beethoven piano cycle while Guerrero's 400th anniversary concert rubs shoulders with Lynn Harrell's first volume of Bach's life-enhancing cello suites.

In the weeks and months to come, watch-out for Plácido Domingo live in Wroclaw, Poland, José Carreras live at London's Royal Albert Hall, Jan Diego Florez at the Wigmore Hall and a host of other superstars soon to be available on request.

Unavailable elsewhere on the web or in the stores, these webcasts will be burned specially onto CD when you order them and will reach you in seven days.

With releases set at a dozen a month, there's ample opportunity to dive headlong into the world of live and dangerous recordings - music as it ought to be heard - thrills without frills...

The GMN Live Collection costs $8.99 per CD and there are no postage or packing costs when exclusively buying these CDs.
